The Crown Vision Center staff is truly amazing, ESPECIALLY JENNIFER!!! She takes the time to answer ... all my questions, clearly explains each fee and gives feedback on which frames work best with my face structure. I have a hard time selecting glasses and she is always patient with me. I love my glasses and get compliments often. I would recommend this location to all my friends and family 🙂

When we changed insurance, we decided to try a new optical company. We came to the Tesson Ferry loca... tion and I'm so glad we did. All 4 of my kids wear glasses, so it's an ordeal to get them all in for appointments. The staff here have always been so amazing. Taking the time to get to know my kids on a personal level. Making them smile and giggle with little jokes. Explaining to the kids what to expect because they are nervous. So many little things that add to an overall amazing experience! Again, I am highly impressed with the level of customer service we continue to experience at this location 💗

Myopia Management FAQs

What is myopia management?

Myopia management uses certain treatments and technologies to slow or even halt your child's myopia progression. Our myopia control program in Concord is unique as we have the latest technology and experience to ensure your child's vision remains stable and healthy for years to come.

Is myopia management necessary?

Myopia is more than just poor vision. Childhood myopia raises the risk of developing sight-threatening eye diseases later in life, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. Speak to your eye doctor about the best ways to minimize your child’s risk.

At what age does myopia (nearsightedness) usually start?

Myopia can begin as early as 6 and will usually progress until roughly age 20. The longer it progresses, and the higher the prescription, the greater your child’s risk of sight-threatening eye conditions later in life.

When should my child start myopia management?

For optimal results, myopia management should be started as soon as possible. That said, myopia control can help children and teens of all ages.
